- Client – any organisation, company, or entity that engages ODL to supply recruitment or staffing services.
- Candidate – any individual introduced by ODL to a client for potential employment or engagement.
- Assignment – a period during which a candidate is supplied by ODL to work for or on behalf of a client.

Candidate Registration and Responsibilities
All candidates must register with accurate and truthful information. By submitting an application or CV, candidates authorise ODL to process their data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR regulations.
It is the candidate’s responsibility to:
- Provide correct contact details, qualifications, and right-to-work documentation.
- Inform ODL of any changes in employment status, visa, or professional registration.
- Ensure professional conduct and compliance with employer policies during placement.
Client Obligations
Clients engaging ODL Recruitment agree to:
- Provide clear job descriptions, salary details, and working conditions.
- Comply with all applicable UK employment laws and health & safety standards.
- Pay fees and charges within agreed terms and timelines.
- Not directly hire or engage candidates introduced by ODL without prior consent and applicable fees.
Fees and Payments
Fees for our services are subject to written agreements between ODL Recruitment and the client. Unless otherwise stated, invoices are due within 14 days of issue. Late payments may incur statutory interest as permitted under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
All fees are exclusive of VAT, which will be applied at the prevailing rate where applicable.
International Recruitment
For overseas recruitment, ODL acts in compliance with the UK Government’s Code of Practice for International Recruitment of Health and Social Care Personnel. We do not charge candidates any recruitment or placement fees. Visa processing and relocation assistance are coordinated ethically and transparently.
Data Protection and Privacy
ODL Recruitment Ltd is fully compliant with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018. We process personal data only for legitimate business purposes related to recruitment and staffing.

Termination
Either party may terminate engagement by providing written notice as specified in the service agreement. ODL reserves the right to immediately suspend services in cases of non-payment, breach of terms, or misuse of candidate data.
Confidentiality
All information shared between ODL, clients, and candidates is treated as strictly confidential. Disclosure of confidential information is permitted only when required by law or mutual consent.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
Amendments
We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Changes will be posted on our website with the updated date indicated. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
